Programs

Darby in TreeThe Program team works to offer programs, activities and events based on the GSNEO mission to provide a value-based program for girls to help them become confident, resourceful, responsible young women.   We provide programs that can be done at the troop level such as Boxed Programs, offer resources for leaders such as Traveling Notebooks, collaborate with other organizations to provide programs such as the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Uganda Project and host council-wide programs.

As GSNEO moves more toward programming designed for girls, by girls! We will be working closely with girls and adult volunteers in developing their programs. Anyone interested in being a part of this growth can contact Fallon Pulley at 216-481-1313, ext. 288 or  fpulley@GSNEO.org.

Be sure to check out 'Collaborations' and '4-Girls' for additional activities for Girl Scouts

Leave No Trace

Girl Scouts of North East Ohio has a non-profit partnership with Leave No Trace, Inc. located in Boulder, Colorado.  Find out more about this partnership by clicking the link above.

Collaborations

We have a working collaboration with organizations such as the Playhouse Square Foundation and the Cleveland Orchestra, that enables us to offer discounts to events that benefit both us and the organization offering the program.

Community Activities

In addition to the activities offered by the Council our Community Page contains community events of interest to girls, from Metroparks activities to the Ohio State Fair.

Box Programs

Are you new to leading a Girl Scout troop and need some help getting started?  Are you a seasoned leader running out of ideas?  Or do you just need a break from planning meetings?  Each Girl Scout Boxed Program includes five to six planned troop meeting theme-based activities, with activities, supplies, evaluations and leader’s guide packed into one convenient box.  This program will assist Leaders’ challenging task of designing activities for troop/groups.  Applicable patches are included in the cost of the program and will be received after the completed evaluations are returned to GSNEO.  All Box Programs can be kept for up to 8 weeks.

GSNEO also offers a series of programs that can be downloaded and used for your Daisy, Brownie or Junior troops.  For more information, click the link above.

General Programs

General Programs are programs offered at the Council or involve an activity sponsored by the Council.
