Identifies, cultivates
and maintains sources of funding and other support resources
including individuals, corporations and foundations within
assigned areas. Establishes fund development plans, goals
and budget. Plans, manages and implements fundraising
events to attract new funding sources. Writes grants and
provides information to Grant Writing Manager.
Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree preferred.

Regional Membership
Specialist: (Cleveland, Lorain, Akron, Canton,
Niles)
Extends and retains the girl and adult membership within
assigned areas. Develops and implements plans for
membership. Review community demographics to develop
recruitment and retention strategies. Supervise and guide
the service of adult volunteer teams to support the
extension of girl and adult members. Recruit, select,
place, train, supervise and evaluate qualified program
delivery volunteers to carry out program implementation. Bachelor’s
degree. Will consider work experience in lieu of degree.

Adult Volunteer
Specialist: (Cleveland, Niles)
Implements basic and continuous learning opportunities to
adult volunteers and staff. Meets with volunteers,
community representatives and organizations to develop
collaborative training/development opportunities. Assists
with providing curriculum and resource materials for
training, including written materials and audio-visual
resources. Develops training calendar and ensures accurate
training records are maintained.

Program Specialist:
(Lorain)
Plan and implement leadership development programs within
assigned areas. Assists with camp programs which include
recruiting, hiring, training and supervising camp staff and
volunteers for both indoor and outdoor programs. Researches
facilities to house programs and maximize community
visibility and support fund development. Works closely with
full membership development team. Develop and plan
activities for the yearly program activity calendar.

Member Services
Coordinator: (Akron)
Integrate all membership functions within Girl Scouts North
East Ohio’s jurisdiction. Oversee staff that develop,
retain, and increase girl and adult membership. Directs the
overall management of the council’s volunteer management
system. Provide staff leadership in the development of
integrated, tactical and strategic plans for membership
development and retention. Collaborates with the Outdoor
Program Coordinator to ensure implementation of outdoor
programs which meet the needs of the girls. Work closely
with the Fund Development Coordinator to ensure membership
recruitment efforts are well coordinated to maximize
community visibility.
