Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
SPEND A WILD NIGHT AT THE
ZOO AT RISING WATERS SAFARI CAMP!
The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo invites Girl
Scouts to participate in their fun-filled,
exciting "Overnight Stay at Rising Waters Safari
Camp!"
Rising Waters Safari Camp is an
African-themed overnight Zoo adventure! Campers
stay in the Zoo's "African Savanna" for an
authentic safari experience. The program
combines elements of African culture, such as
making of tribal masks and a story circle, with
conservation-oriented activities and a visit
with some of the Zoo's smaller African animals.
Night hikes, snacks, and FREE admission to
the Zoo following the program are included! A
minimum of 15 people is needed to book a
reservation.
Rising Waters runs June through September so
don't miss out! Weekday and weekend dates are
available!

TRACKS
Also, ask about "Night Tracks" which is an
overnight that focuses on wolves and other North
American species. You'll sleep in the Zoo's Wolf

The Holden Arboretum has
year round programming for Girl Scouts. Earn
badges and patches in a unique outdoor environment.
Cost for all programs is $5 per girl. Call

Lake Metroparks Scout Programs
Let Lake Metroparks help your troop earn scout recognitions
and/ or supplement your group's activities! All programs are led by
professional staff and most are available year- round. Each program is
designed to fulfill badge requirements for a particular scouting level.

LAKE ERIE NATURE & SCIENCE
CENTER -
PROGRAMS FOR GIRL SCOUTS!
The Lake Erie Nature & Science Center is offering an
array of fun-filled, educational programs for Girl Scouts -- featuring
facilitated Badge Programs, Self-Guided Backpack experiences, Girl Scout
overnights, Girl Scout Days and Special Events for Daisy, Brownie,
Junior and Cadette/Senior Girl Scouts. The Center requires troops
to follow Safety-Wise
and to adhere to adult/child ratios.
