This July, Dairy Queen will introduce a new treat—the Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard®. Made up of creamy soft-serve, blended with Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie pieces and a crème de menthe topping, the Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard will be available during July 2008 at participating Dairy Queen locations.


LAKE ERIE NATURE & SCIENCE CENTER -
PROGRAMS FOR GIRL SCOUTS!

The Lake Erie Nature & Science Center is offering an array of fun-filled, educational programs for Girl Scouts -- featuring facilitated Badge Programs, Self-Guided Backpack experiences, Girl Scout overnights, Girl Scout Days and Special Events for Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette/Senior Girl Scouts.  The Center requires troops to follow Safety-Wise and to adhere to adult/child ratios.

 


Holcombs Knowville Scout Workshops

Free Family Day for Girl Scouts with Special Needs

Saturday, August 9
Camp Sugarbush, Kinsman, Ohio
10am – 7pm
 

Girl Scouts of North East Ohio will be holding a Free Family Day For Registered Girl Scouts with Special Needs, ages 5-21, and their families.

A dinner of hot dogs, baked beans, vegetables, and desert for both campers and their family will be provided. Lunch is not provided but families are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy at Camp Sugarbush. (Campers and family members with special dietary restrictions are asked to supply their own lunch/dinner)

Program activities will be available such as swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, nature program, and much more!

WKDD Kidz Day

July 19, Boettler Park in the City of Green, Ohio

Visit the GSNEO booth at the only interactive festival created just for kids.

WKDD Kidz Day is the ultimate outdoor playground featuring activities and exhibits reserved just for fun.

The goal of Kidz Day is to create an educational and entertaining environment where kids and parents can gain information on products and services with the emphasis on having quality family fun at an affordable price!

Tickets are $5 at the door.

This outdoor event features inflatable fun areas, bounce-a-rounds, slides and inflatable climbing structures, an eanimal petting area, entertainers, live talent performances and the Starz of tomorrow Talent Competition finals.
